España ha sido uno de los países más afectados por la crisis de la COVID-19, tanto por el número de víctimas como por el impacto económico.
Durante la crisis de la COVID-19, el partido de la extrema derecha española VOX chocó duramente contra el Gobierno e incluso llevó al Congreso una moción de censura el pasado 21 de octubre de 2020. El partido también impulsó varias protestas contra el confinamiento en mayo y octubre de 2020.
Este estudio tiene como objetivo analizar el comportamiento de VOX durante la crisis de la COVID-19 y ver hasta qué punto se ha aprovechado (o no) de la crisis. Forma parte de un proyecto más amplio titulado ¿Aprovechándose del miedo? La crisis de la Covid-19 y el populismo de la derecha. Promovido por las oficinas europeas de la Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES), esta investigación tiene por objetivo evaluar si los partidos populistas de extrema derecha han capitalizado la crisis, así como los efectos de la pandemia sobre la cultura política.
Agenda Pública y la oficina en España de la FES queremos invitarte a la presentación, discusión y debate del documento sobre España, así como de las principales conclusiones que se pueden sacar a nivel europeo, el próximo 6 de mayo 2021 de 10-11.30h.
